Students and others interested in learning more about working with clay and running a small business are invited to apply for Burning Fork Studio’s Internship Program. Internships are unpaid positions.

What can you get out of and internship at Burning Fork Studio?

Interns will get to work alongside Lahla Deakins, learning how the pottery is made and finished, and get insight about the process of selling online and at local craft shows and festivals.

Duties include:

Helping with glaze work, studio cleanup, running errands, and other tasks around the studio.


Interns must be at 18 or older and be available to work at least 10 hours per week (at least two consecutive hours per work session), for at least one month. Some experience with ceramics is required (i.e. school ceramics classes).
