Bridal or Keepsake Lace Pottery
Want to enjoy your wedding dress every day? Have Burning Fork Studio make a reminder of your special day in clay using lace from your dress or veil! Your lace can be pressed into clay to make a striking pattern on picture frames, dishes, mugs, vases, and more. It’s best to use a scrap of lace left over from alterations, as pressing it into the brown clay will stain it.
This is also a great option for a piece of heirloom or keepsake lace or crochet that’s not in great condition, but that you want to display and remember. Again, the brown clay will stain the lace, so make sure you choose a piece that’s already stained or that you don’t mind getting dirty.
After your pieces are made, your lace will be rinsed with water (to remove clay residue) and returned to you.
