Burning Fork is moving to Knoxville!

After much deliberation on timing and logistics, my husband and I have finally decided to move to Tennessee in January. I am super excited to be living near some of my best friends again, closer to my family, and back in my home state. And I am REALLY excited about Burning Fork Studio being based in Knoxville!

My business home will be located at 514 W. Jackson, Suite 101, which Burning Fork Studio will share with Nathanna and Mockingbird Events. I’ll make some art there, teach classes (hopefully beginning in Spring 2011), and have a little retail space with lots of art for sale! My pottery studio location is yet to be determined, but I’m hoping it will be set up somewhere in a few months.

While I hammer out all the details of setting up my business in Knoxville, our little artsy collective at 514 W. Jackson is hosting First Friday events each month to show off our awesome new space. You can stop by this Friday, December 3, for snacks, drinks, and an open house to give you an idea of what we’re doing in downtown Knoxville.

Burning Fork will be officially open for business in mid- to late January, meaning you can stop by during my business hours and purchase a unique piece of art, request special orders, or just say hello. Hope to see you there soon!
